One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Red Horizon sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 50 m. Unknown suddenly started to galop. had to struggle to get Unknown to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Tripping Top, Fast Mountain, Acrophobia, Red Horizon, Metzelder, Flaming Queen, Phase Two, Kansas City. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Red Horizon took the lead after 1000m. Metzelder didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Red Horizon today. It continued in the lead.




Red Horizon kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Red Horizon sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Kansas City was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.




Flaming Queen never caught up with Red Horizon who won. Phase Two came third.
