One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Perfect Warrior could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Floating Gold was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

Perfect Warrior looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Counter Strike couldn't come out from behind the leader, Suger Perlen.

Suger Perlen was still in the lead after 1500m. Brave Wolf galloped for 40 m.

Suger Perlen was still in the lead after 2000m.

Stumbeling Indian was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Suger Perlen kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Johan Untersteiner tried a little too much on the homestretch and Brave Wolf started to galopp and lost 50 m.

Suger Perlen didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
