It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Cia Agent. Pointing Starlight ended up behind the leader. Heavenly Tropic got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Kytjema, Calypso, Pointing Starlight, Tempting Diamond, Heavenly Tropic, Cia Agent, Speciale Invitare, Floweret. Profondamente Tocco started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

The leader got disturbed by something and Speciale Invitare took the lead rather easily. Heavenly Tropic was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Speciale Invitare today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Pointing Starlight gallopped for 50 m.

Speciale Invitare kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Speciale Invitare didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
