One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Saarland Larockma found a gap and took the lead. Saint Michel followed before Flaming Victory. Tarzan Boy galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Born Bowler quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Born Bowler was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Born Bowler was still in the lead after 1500m.

Tarzan Boy was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Born Bowler kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Torbjörn Jansson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Tarzan Boy started to galopp and lost 30 m. Alabaster Cherry was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Jack Gibraltar galop. Jack Gibraltar lost 50 m.

Saarland Larockma sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
