Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Rättvik track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Beauty Devine sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Nez Busque started to galop and lost 20 m.

Beauty Devine was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 10 m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Beach Boy Brandy took the lead after 1000m. Beauty Devine didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Will Strike Again took the lead after 1000m. Urèitý Iluze didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and Dark Orbit started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Beauty Devine made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Urèitý Iluze.
