One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Gentle Giant took the lead after a very quick start. Baby Love was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

Baby Love was in fine shape and held the lead.

Baby Love looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Gunther Pond couldn't come out from behind the leader, Intelligent Work.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Gunther Pond followed by Gentle Giant and Intelligent Work. Lane two Hurricane Observer followed by Whispering Spring and Somewhere In Time. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Tricky Trap gallopped for 50 m.

High Blue was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Hurricane Observer looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Winner of todays race was Gentle Giant. Somewhere In Time came in second. Intelligent Work became third.
