The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Axevalla this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Mindbender found a gap and took the lead. Pari Tentativo followed before Heavenly Grove.

Mindbender was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.

Comfortable Wolf sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Boy Back Home suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

Pari Tentativo accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Heavenly Grove started to gallop after 1500m and Håkan K Persson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Pari Tentativo was still in the lead after 2000m.

With only a little left of the race Papaïchton galoped for 30 m. Pari Tentativo sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Solid Satellite to trotting so they were disqualified.

No-one could catch Pari Tentativo today who won before Johnny D. Man and Comfortable Wolf.
