It had been raining for several days at Axevalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Dove Heart found a gap and took the lead. Rugged Piece followed before Screaming Bullet.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Screaming Bullet sprinted to the front.

Screaming Bullet clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Brilliant Smuggler suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Screaming Bullet today. It continued in the lead. Brilliant Smuggler started to gallop after 1500m and Håkan K Persson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Rugged Piece seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.

Rugged Piece were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Screaming Bullet sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
