One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Winner's Hibiscus sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Monsieur Hector was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. True Racer suddenly started to galop. Erik Adielsson had to struggle to get True Racer to tror again and succeded after 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Soft Cornetto, Try To Decide, Paint It Black, Sliding Boulder, True Racer, Jumping Jewel, Growing By Nature, Copernicus. Nellore was disturbed and galoped 20 m. Monsieur Hector showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Jumping Jewel took the lead after 1000m. True Racer didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

True Racer looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Jumping Jewel took the lead.

Soft Cornetto speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Jumping Jewel won. True Racer came in second. Soft Cornetto caught third place.
