Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Diamond Thunder found a gap and took the lead. Space Agent followed before Prime Ticket. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

Diamond Thunder was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.

Space Agent looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Countdown To Zero couldn't come out from behind the leader, Diamond Thunder.

Diamond Thunder was still in the lead after 1500m. Unknown galloped for 10 m. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified.

Diamond Thunder looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

No-one could catch Diamond Thunder today who won before Space Agent and Stone Gossard.
