The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åmål today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Less Is More could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Lone Crusher quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Lone Crusher was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Lone Crusher followed by Less Is More and Political Issue. Lane two Flickering Lemonade followed by Petit Baguette and Profiteer.



Stepping Moment was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Stepping Moment was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Petit Baguette was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Flickering Lemonade litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Stepping Moment galop. Stepping Moment lost 50 m.




Flickering Lemonade didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
