It had been raining for several days at Drammen but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Hot Steam. Gimlet ended up behind the leader. I Promised Myself got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Kalevala sprinted to the front.




Gimlet sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.



COUNTER sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Alexander Heisholt tried a little too much on the homestretch and Hot Steam started to galopp and lost 40 m.




Gimlet won. I Promised Myself came in second. COUNTER caught third place.
