Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Sørlandet track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Lucky Madness. Platinum Rock ended up behind the leader. Total Genius got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Le Samouraï quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 10 m. Avec Plaisir started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Avec Plaisir took the lead rather easily.



Golden Turf was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. The leader got disturbed by something and Avec Plaisir took the lead rather easily.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Golden Turf galop. Golden Turf lost 40 m.




Platinum Rock made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Le Samouraï.
