One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Stepping Maid. Shy Love ended up behind the leader. Barracuda got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

At The Beach saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Sudden Starshine started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Saint Of Love sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Dressed For Success galopped for 30 m on the homestretch. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Dressed For Success galop. Dressed For Success lost 50 m. Robert Bergh tried a little too much on the homestretch and Stepping Maid started to galopp and lost 50 m.
