It had been raining for several days at Romme but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rolling Diary took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Royal Phantom sprinted to the front.




Belmont Cragin Trotter sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Belmont Cragin Trotter followed by Rolling Diary and Top Deluxe. Lane two Rubberbandman followed by Ghislain and Just Mustache. Top Deluxe galloped for 20 m. Silence galloped for 20 m.



Belmont Cragin Trotter looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Just Mustache was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.




Belmont Cragin Trotter didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
