The weather had been good all week and Biri was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Winnipeg Gold Digger found a gap and took the lead. Calming Satellite followed before Top Pneu. Climbing Action galloped way to long and was disqualified.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Calming Satellite took the lead after 1000m. Top Pneu didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 50 m. Winnipeg Gold Digger was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Top Pneu accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



With only a little left of the race Climbing Action galoped for 20 m. Top Pneu kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Climbing Action galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Bad Dream won. Top Pneu came in second. Calming Satellite caught third place.
