One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Strong Band sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Bergens Engel galloped way to long and was disqualified.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Slow Panther looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Dreaming Rocket couldn't come out from behind the leader, Strong Band.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Strong Band followed by Slow Panther and Still Going Strong. Lane two True Fan followed by Front Printer and Dreaming Rocket. Slow Panther started to gallop after 1500m and Rune Wiig had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Dreaming Rocket showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.



Strong Band were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






True Fan never caught up with Strong Band who won. Slow Panther came third.
