Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Biri track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





The Question could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Papaïchton, The Trumpet Player, Image Du Jour, Yellow Crossing Blue, Bugg Shash, Caesar Tagliante, Kip, Escalope. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and The Trumpet Player took the lead rather easily. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m. Yellow Crossing Blue suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.




Kip saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




The Trumpet Player put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



The Trumpet Player sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

With Style galopped for 40 m on the homestretch. Andre H Stensen tried a little too much on the homestretch and With Style started to galopp and lost 20 m. Kip galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Escalope made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before The Trumpet Player.
