The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Bergen this day.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
Old
Steel.
Brave
Power ended up behind the leader.
Moon Dog Rover got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Unknown suddenly started to galop. had to struggle to get Unknown to tror again and succeded after 50 m.
Old
Steel was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 20 m. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
Moon Dog Rover looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Dieudonné couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Old
Steel. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop
Old
Steel today. It continued in the lead.
Brave
Power started to gallop after 1500m and Jomar Blekkan had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Moon Dog Rover suddenly took over the lead. Unknown was disturbed and gallopped for 0 m.
Old
Steel was first on the homestretch followed by
Moon Dog Rover and
Dieudonné.
Teddy Tek galoped for 60m and was disqualified. Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and
Teddy Tek started to galopp and lost 40 m.
Old
Steel didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
