One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Through The Grapewine could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown suddenly started to galop. had to struggle to get Unknown to tror again and succeded after 20 m. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 30 m. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Numero Una, Shining Lady, Conquear My Fear, Maximum Overheat, Awesome Royale One, Seven Sisters, Old Moment, Stunning Sun. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 0 m.

Conquear My Fear sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Conquear My Fear was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 10 m.

Conquear My Fear kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Through The Grapewine galopped for 50 m on the homestretch. Through The Grapewine was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Through The Grapewine showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Stunning Sun won the race after a spectacular finish.
