The weather had been good all week and Tornio was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





La Porta Portie sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Oronte was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and La Porta Portie took the lead rather easily.




La Porta Portie was still in the lead after 1500m. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting. driver couldn't keep Lappa Lainen to trotting so they were disqualified.



La Porta Portie looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Lappa Lainen galop. Lappa Lainen lost 50 m. Lappa Lainen was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.




La Porta Portie didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
