The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Rättvik this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Delightful Horse could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Galaxyland Rocket saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Growing Scout sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Galaxyland Rocket was disturbed and galoped 50 m. Troubling Moon galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Growing Scout followed by Sliding Bandwith and Delightful Horse. Lane two Intelligent Box followed by Shriekback and Solid Piece.

With only a little left of the race Growing Scout galoped for 50 m. Intelligent Box suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sliding Bandwith galop. Sliding Bandwith lost 50 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Shriekback galop. Shriekback lost 20 m.

Growing Scout won. Intelligent Box came in second. Delightful Horse caught third place.
