One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Killing Tengil took the lead after a very quick start.

This is the positions after 500m. The President, Plein Tournage, Shooting Bear, Two For The Money, Dreaming Rocker, Big Puma, Killing Tengil, Brave Tiger. Active Runner started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Plein Tournage sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Plein Tournage followed by Two For The Money and The President. Lane two Big Puma followed by Killing Tengil and Brave Tiger.

Plein Tournage sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Big Puma was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Killing Tengil galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Two For The Money speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Falling Mind galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.

Plein Tournage sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
