The weather had been good all week and Eskilstuna was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Special Intentions could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

The leader got disturbed by something and Holy Spring took the lead rather easily. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Holy Spring followed by Special Intentions and Mirror Poser. Lane two Breaking Forest followed by Maison Pour Noël and Skipping Tropic.

With only a little left of the race Skipping Tropic galoped for 30 m. Holy Spring were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Special Intentions won the race after a spectacular finish.
