It had been raining for several days at Halmstad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Engel Risse found a gap and took the lead. Bloody Mary followed before Hooks In You. Goofy
Rocket was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and Little
Moon sprinted to the front. Sleepy
Pie started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
Little
Moon clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Little
Moon followed by Calling It Love and Hooks In You. Lane two Bloody Mary followed by Engel Risse and Goofy
Rocket.
Bloody Mary was first on the homestretch followed by Engel Risse and Calling It Love.
Winner of todays race was Bloody Mary. Goofy
Rocket came in second. Calling It Love became third.
