The weather had been good all week and Lindesberg was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Traveller took the lead after a very quick start.

Riverfront was in fine shape and held the lead.

Bold Ruby looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Jumping Jewel couldn't come out from behind the leader, Mythical Dancer.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Mythical Dancer today. It continued in the lead. Bold Ruby started to gallop after 1500m and Tom Horpestad had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Traveller looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Riverfront didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
