One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dragons Breath could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 30 m. Merciful was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




Verlenen Stevigheid quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Verlenen Stevigheid clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Merciful looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Merciful sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Thomas Uhrberg tried a little too much on the homestretch and Sunbeam Clover started to galopp and lost 20 m.




No-one could catch Merciful today who won before Dragons Breath and Verlenen Stevigheid.
