One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sleepy Pie could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown suddenly started to galop. had to struggle to get Unknown to tror again and succeded after 30 m. Åsbjørn Tengsareid wanted a little to much in the start and Holy Maid galoped for 40 m.

Sleepy Pie was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.

Life Is Beautiful sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Turning Sunshine was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Holy Maid sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Olav Mikkelborg tried a little too much on the homestretch and Queen Elizabeth started to galopp and lost 20 m. Queen Elizabeth galoped way to long and was disqualified. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Conversation Piece galop. Conversation Piece lost 30 m.

Holy Maid kept the speed the whole finish and won before Pansy Flower and Life Is Beautiful.
