The weather had been good all week and Lindesberg was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lance could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Calming Runner galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Lone Power quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




In Charge took the lead after 1000m. Lone Power didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one In Charge followed by Moonlight Brightness and Dream Glory. Lane two Lone Power followed by Front Wolf and Tequila Sunrise.



In Charge sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Front Wolf won. Lone Power came in second. In Charge caught third place.
