Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Eskilstuna track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Clear My Way found a gap and took the lead. Makes Me Stronger followed before Strong Standing.

This is the positions after 500m. Bright Night, No Excuses, Makes Me Stronger, Mythical Dancer, Confidence Play, Bingo, Zubarev, Royal Phantom. Clear My Way started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Makes Me Stronger sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m. Royal Phantom suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Makes Me Stronger followed by No Excuses and Confidence Play. Lane two Zubarev followed by Bingo and Strong Standing. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Mythical Dancer gallopped for 50 m.

No Excuses speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Confidence Play galopped for 10 m on the homestretch. Mythical Dancer galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.

Zubarev made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before No Excuses.
