One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Punching Rock found a gap and took the lead. Somewhere In Time followed before Girl Next Door.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Somewhere In Time sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Girl Next Door who started to galop and lost 20 m. Old Work started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Falling Girl took the lead after 1000m. Punching Rock didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Falling Girl was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Old Work gallopped for 30 m.




Somewhere In Time took the lead.



Falling Girl was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Somewhere In Time sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Somewhere In Time. Punching Rock came in second. Falling Girl became third.
