One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Brown Collar American could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Derbywinner started to galop and lost 50 m.




Punching Action saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Brown Collar American took the lead after 1000m. Dr Satan didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Brown Collar American was still in the lead after 1500m. Unknown galloped for 30 m.



Derbywinner litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Little Too Shy galop. Little Too Shy lost 40 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Out Of Control galop. Out Of Control lost 20 m.




Derbywinner didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
