The weather had been good all week and Sodankylä was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Just Ship found a gap and took the lead. Flying Fighter followed before Beauty Rainbow. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 30 m. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 10 m. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified.

Speeding Sunshine saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Beauty Rainbow took the lead after 1000m. Like Flames didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Like Flames saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 40 m.

Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified. With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 10 m. Beauty Rainbow litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Solid Piece was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.

Flying Fighter made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Beauty Rainbow.
