One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Backslash could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. The Question, Rotan, Backslash, Hero, Marshal Seabrook, Falling Brightness, Ellen Gibraltar, Lost In Dreams. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Rotan sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.




Rotan was still in the lead after 1500m.



Rotan sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Ellen Gibraltar galopped for 20 m on the homestretch. Clio galoped way to long and was disqualified.




The Question won the race after a spectacular finish.
