One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Perfect Spice. Fighting Ship ended up behind the leader. Good Looking Star got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 50 m. Mad Wish started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Strong Runner who started to galop and lost 20 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Perfect Spice followed by Fighting Ship and Over The Limit. Lane two Good Looking Star followed by Quick Stereo and Mad Wish.

Good Looking Star were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Mad Wish galop. Mad Wish lost 40 m.

No-one could catch Good Looking Star today who won before Over The Limit and Strong Runner.
