One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Bloody Mary could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Eight One Six was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. When the startcar left the field Girl Next Door started to galop and lost 10 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Close Night sprinted to the front. Frozen Tropic started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

The leader got disturbed by something and Johnny D. Man took the lead rather easily. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

Johnny D. Man was still in the lead after 1500m.

Johnny D. Man sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Dressed Just Right galoped for 60m and was disqualified. driver couldn't keep Eight One Six to trotting so they were disqualified.

Bloody Mary sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
