Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Kokemäki track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Clandestine could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Caesar Tagliante was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. Clandestine was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

Platinum Technology clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

Clandestine accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

With only a little left of the race Bugg Shash galoped for 20 m. Caesar Tagliante suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Creeping Mind galopped for 30 m on the homestretch. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Clandestine galop. Clandestine lost 20 m. Bugg Shash was disturbed and galopped for 0 m.

Texas Blind Snake sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
