The weather had been good all week and Solänget was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Silver Spirit sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Silver Spirit was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Powerful Mustache showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m. Dragonheart was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Silver Spirit followed by Dragonheart and Steal My Thunder. Lane two Magnon followed by Criminal Gold and Nasty Worker. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Steal My Thunder gallopped for 50 m.



With only a little left of the race Steal My Thunder galoped for 40 m. With only a little left of the race Hjördis Pond galoped for 30 m. Silver Spirit sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Malibu Mango galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Dragonheart sprinted over the finishline before Silver Spirit and Magnon.
