The weather had been good all week and Dannero was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rolling Sky could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Eclipse sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Funky Moment accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Funky Moment was still in the lead after 2000m.



Eclipse was first on the homestretch followed by Funky Moment and Rolling Sky.






Eclipse didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
