It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Disconnect. Helpful Box ended up behind the leader. Call Me Rocky got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Punching Bandwith saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Palemas Silverheart took the lead after 1000m. The Chase didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




The Chase accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Palemas Silverheart started to gallop after 1500m and Tom Horpestad had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Punching Bandwith gallopped for 20 m.



I Need Ice speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






I Need Ice didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
