One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Just Ship could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 30 m.




Rebel Canuplin saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 10 m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m. Crazy For Pearls showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




The leader got disturbed by something and Afinogenov took the lead rather easily. Loup showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Afinogenov followed by Counterstrike and Mon Coeur. Lane two Just Ship followed by One Big Mob and Rebel Canuplin.



Afinogenov sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Tennessee Trotter galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.




Counterstrike won. Just Ship came in second. Afinogenov caught third place.
