One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Perfect Striker found a gap and took the lead. Ballinrobe followed before Flying Gallant. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 50 m.




Ballinrobe saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Super Trouper sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Super Trouper was still in the lead after 1500m.



Flying Gallant was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Super Trouper looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Perfect Striker, 2 Super Trouper, 3 Ballinrobe.
