One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Fawltys Ticking Grove could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 40 m. Håkan Skoglund wanted a little to much in the start and Rugged Bomb galoped for 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Lucky Tribute, Station Wagon, Lt Dan, Thunder Strong, Sleepless Freak, Fawltys Ticking Grove, Madhava, Cornichon. Rugged Bomb galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Lucky Tribute was still in the lead after 1500m.

With only a little left of the race Rugged Bomb galoped for 10 m. With only a little left of the race Rugged Bomb galoped for 50 m. Lucky Tribute were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Rugged Bomb galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.

Lucky Tribute didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
