One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Exploding Pirate sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 50 m. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. When the startcar left the field Birdland started to galop and lost 50 m.




Perfeksjon saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Hurricane Observer sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Hurricane Observer was still in the lead after 1500m. Flickering Moon started to gallop after 1500m and Peter Untersteiner had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Something caused a disturbance in the field and One Big Mob gallopped for 50 m.



Flying Striker was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Hurricane Observer kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Exploding Pirate never caught up with Hurricane Observer who won. Birdland came third.
