One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Holy Maid could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Lying Galaxy quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Holy Maid looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sweet Addiction couldn't come out from behind the leader, Lying Galaxy. Wandering Feeling was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Lying Galaxy followed by Rainy Day and Tia Dalma. Lane two Sweet Addiction followed by Holy Maid and Stifling Wind.

Sweet Addiction suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Perfect Cake galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Holy Maid, 2 Sweet Addiction, 3 Rainy Day.
