The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stopping Meadow found a gap and took the lead. Amaral´s Boa followed before Joyeux. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. When the startcar left the field Joyeux started to galop and lost 50 m.




Stopping Meadow was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 10 m. A bird flew just in front of Joyeux who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Stopping Meadow was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Joyeux galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.




Amaral´s Boa was still in the lead after 1500m. Unknown galloped for 50 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 40 m.



Amaral´s Boa kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Amaral´s Boa today who won before Joyeux and Glory General.
