Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Forbløffende could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




This is the positions after 500m. Tropical Feeling, Forbløffende, Gorgeous Nova, Hard Hero, Perfect Girl, Destiny Dark, Appetizer, Roi De Pique. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Gorgeous Nova took the lead rather easily.




Roi De Pique accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Unknown galloped for 50 m. Unknown galloped for 20 m.



Roi De Pique looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Falling Star was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Falling Star galop. Falling Star lost 10 m. Appetizer showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Final standings. 1 Perfect Girl, 2 Gorgeous Nova, 3 Roi De Pique.
