One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Giant Stone could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




King Victory sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop King Victory today. It continued in the lead.



King Victory kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and Of The Century started to galopp and lost 10 m. Of The Century was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Of The Century galop. Of The Century lost 20 m. driver couldn't keep Of The Century to trotting so they were disqualified.




Giant Stone never caught up with King Victory who won. Quoiqu'il Arrive came third.
