It had been raining for several days at Jarlsberg but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Des Amiral could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 20 m.

Super Value saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Des Amiral sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Cheval À Bascule looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

With only a little left of the race Lieutenant Star galoped for 20 m. With only a little left of the race Lieutenant Star galoped for 40 m. Des Amiral litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and Lieutenant Star started to galopp and lost 10 m.

Sudden Meadow sprinted over the finishline before Shining Wish and Sergeant Pain.
