One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Superman. Wonder Star ended up behind the leader. Jagd Larockma got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 10 m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m. Perfect Speed started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one King Champion followed by Wonder Star and Perfect Speed. Lane two Jagd Larockma followed by Superman and Queen Of Clubs.

Ten Of Clubs was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. With only a little left of the race Nuclear Warning galoped for 10 m. King Champion kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

King Champion never caught up with Wonder Star who won. Superman came third.
